The Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is a full-service build-to-suit project with a total of 234,000 sf, located in the Lennar Partners Spectrum Corporate Center in San Diego. Northrop Grumman will occupy three buildings initially: Building 2, three floors totaling 66,495 sf; Building 3, two floors totaling 44,550 sf; and Building 4 two floors, totaling 65,050 sf; along with a 7,649 sf covered courtyard connecting Buildings 3 and 4. The interior spaces consist of the following: open and private offices, large and small conference rooms, training rooms and a full-service commercial kitchen and cafeteria, a large computer room, small server/IDF rooms, 7/24 electronic laboratories, support rooms and ancillary space. The central atrium hosts large conference functions as well as flexible conversion space for adjacent smaller conferences and lunch rooms. The project is constructed of accented precast concrete tilt-up and high performance glass curtainwall. The atrium is constructed of steel-frame and translucent roofing and glass curtainwall for a natural daylight appearance.
