Project Info.
The project was an 80’s era concrete industrial / R&D building. PCA assisted the owners in Building Restoration with an eye towards the market place. The exterior skin was rejuvenated with defined entry points of natural stone and glass. Drought tolerant, native landscaping was employed taking advantage of the neighboring creek on site. High performance glazing was added to mitigate freeway noise prevalent in some suites. LEED inspired day-lighting, high insulation values, reduced roof heat islands, drought tolerant landscape, and building reuse was employed to bring added value to the project. The Business Park has recently been acquired by new ownership and the project is selling out under the current economic environment. Both buildings were also converted into condo-ownership to target the SBA financing model. PCA also designed a LEED Inspired spec suite to help potential buyers envision the cold shell condos for sale.
